Use it when you feel proud of your intuition. If a scammer calls you and you hang up, tell your friends you 识破 their scam. It makes you sound sharp and unshakeable.

Don't use this for positive surprises. If your boyfriend hides an engagement ring, don't say you 识破 his surprise. That sounds like he was doing something wrong! Also, don't use it for simple physical sight. You don't 识破 a bird in a tree. You only 识破 things that were meant to stay hidden. It’s for secrets, not just objects.
